To be Dropped

To be Dropped

A Poem by Spectating Spectator
"

This is for you, you don't know who you are.

"

You lied to me
You said
"I'm strong"
Lifted me
Then dropped me
It hurt
It hurts

It was pouring rain
I fell
I could not get up
Alone
You came
Held me
"Love me"
"Please"

So you did
But you said
"I have to go soon"
"Dont let the storm wash you away"
I begged
Pleaded
"Take me with you"

So you tried
And lied
And when you failed
You left me
To sit in my puddle
Alone
It hurt
It hurts
