Another Joint on the RoadA Poem by Jim Givena lonely and weary traveler's thoughts
Red Mountain or Tap water and beer Separately or Together and as one,
Another Joint on the Road,
Girl’s on poles Dance floors and laps, Missing teeth save Pierced tongues Unnecessary,
Another Joint on the Road,
Zig zags and the Dime bag on the Passenger side floor, Of the Studebaker Lark Cruiser, With bitter seeds and stems, Leave no reason, To pull over,
Another Joint on the Road. © 2014 Jim Given |
