This one i do believe would have such a greater impact if it was extended. It seems almost to be too short to really convey the message or idea that you are trying to portray here. It seems to be an uncompleted thought almost.
The stanza that you do have there though is magnificently expressive and well written. Enough to catch the readers attention by your wonderful poetic language.
