Pearls of Wisdom

Pearls of Wisdom

A Poem by Webster

Buds may bloom, flowers wilt
All that's colored, will turn to silt
Clouds move in on a sunny day
But the rain does pass, come what may.

Meadows dry, forrests may die
Sun may rage on summers' nigh
When it all has set, what is it that's left?
Just those bound in glory, as a gift.

Lives may pass, the soul may crack
But all is mendable, when no efforts lack
Disgust is sudden, anger is temporary
Those special last forever, true souls do not weary

Just go on as one may, live a life you truly can
No hindsight until the end, wander on in this Isle of man
And when it is you reach alas, that place you truly wished to pass
Then look upon that memory, that got you here yonder alas.

Beautiful nostalgic poem, I can feel the sadness but I can see some hope too

Really drawn in by your first stanza. There are some small edits re spelling, you might want to check. Nice job Webster.
