Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine

A Poem by Mimi

One deep breath

And It engulfs me

Like a chilling flame

Crystal

Crank

Glass

Ice

Call it what you want

I call it

Bliss

Glory

Paradise

Happiness

Two deep breaths

It consumes me

My mind going blank

Completely buzzed...

HAHAHA, I can relate 100%!!! I used to use many years ago. Truthful piece of work here.

I think its important to understand what a drug does for a person before we attempt to get them off of it. This poem shows us what we have to replace in this addict's life. This is dark, but an honest study of a person who needs help. You took us into a terrifying world...and gave meaning to the lives of a group of people who are most often misunderstood. Its rich with emotion and heart.
