The Person

I poem I wrote for Booksie long ago originally title Person... (Simple Words). Its about the important things in life.

The Person

COURAGE is not for the person with a faint heart,

LOVE is not for the person not ready to be torn apart,

PASSION is not for the person who will never give it all,

BRAVERY is not for the person not willing to ever fall,

WISDOM is not for the person just quietly sitting around,

FRIENDS are not for the person who wishes to stay unfound,

LIFE is not for the person who isn't ready to die,

HAPPINESS is not for the person who hasn't already cried,

IMAGINATION is not for the person who is very dull,

DREAMS are not for the person whose glass isn't half full,

POETRY is not for the person who is never ready to share,

RELATIONSHIPS are not for the person who is never there,

INTELLIGENCE is not for the person who isn't willing to learn,

and TRUST is not for the person who isn't ready to earn.

I have to say that I love the format of this poem most of all. The line lengths look appealing and I love the bolded lettering that begins each thought.
The one thing that is bothering the hell out of me though is that there is not a period at the end. Everything is so beautiful with the commas that the empty space at the end of the last word in the poem makes me cringe. I am still giving you 100 though. I love the concept and you outdid yourself when it comes to visually depicting what you are trying to portray.
