The Dancers Silhouette

The Dancers Silhouette

A Poem by Aero

music leaves the speakers
 In a wave of expression
Moving from one side to the other
Walking along the walls
the waves gently guides her silhouette

The floor anchors each note
 Killing the sound,
 giving light to emotion
vibrato vibrates in direction of wood grain
While the treble reaches for the light

Chord progressions create a whirlpool
Pulling the sounds toward the floor
Dragging her silhouette
In direction of the music

Acoustics tear through her
 Splitting fantasy from reality
A mist of tears extract from the vortex
Raining over the outskirts of the room
Leaving her parylyzed by rythym

Her shaddow walks beside her silhouette
Two of the same ,but so distant
Out of frame, a mirrored image
Stripping any flesh, leaving just a sketch
She becomes a blank canvas

The musics presence
draws in pleasant essence
Giving way to an open room
An antique in her own mind
Where her silhouette once swayed
And her shaddow decayed

The whirlpool decends
 while the chaos ends
She walked silently out of the room
Allowing her silhouette to guide her way

Wow, this poem is very moving. I really enjoyed reading it!! Every stanza really stood out to me especially the last one because it shows that when all the chaos was done all that was left of her was her silhouette. Something that was her now is leading her away. Very well written!!
