A Bottle Lost in the Sea

you get what I mean

I tried to pick myself up
but only realized it was impossible.
I was already minced to pieces.
Too little.
That I would slip
between the gaps of my fingers.

So I got a bottle.
Locked myself in it.
And threw it to the sea.
Sailing away,
 hoping to land on shore.
And find something to fix myself with.

I was feeling lost and broke as i lay awake in my bed, so I wrote this and fell asleep halfway 😂 lol

i like this idea...usually there is that note sent to someone else..the message in a bottle...

but this reminds me of how we must distance ourselves from our own problems sometimes, and by doing that we get a better perspective.
