Unloved

Ever felt unwanted? Well this sums it all up.

I feel unwanted by your eyes 

Unloved by your heart 

I fell so hard for your dark 

The light around your heart 

The shine in your eyes 

Mesmerized by my demise 

The bliss of your kiss 

Unexperienced by my lips 

The hatred in your smile 

Scars me for life 

I want a potion of your love 

To unleash my soul 

I wish my tears would wash away my pain 

The image of your face embedded in my brain 

The warmth of your touch 

Hurts me so much 

But still makes me want more 

The safety of your embrace 

With your hands around my waist 

Will never be my fate 

Sweet nothings that I hear 

Whispered so close to my ear 

The lies that you bare 

Apart me, they tear 

But still I say a prayer

To capture your heart 

Like fireflies in a jar 

 And keep it close to my heart.

Great imagery in this poem, it is the kind of write that allows people to jump right in and put there selves right there in it. Every one is different and every heart breaks differently but some things are always the same. You have done a wonderful job at portraying those things we all feel which is a beautiful thing. Wonderful poem.
