MonstersA Poem by Gurglesnarch van CaasiThis was inspired by the sadness and self-awareness of evil.Monsters I know of monsters
everywhere Some serious, some kind But mostly there are
the wicked Which is what you’ll
often find Some sneak around with
weapons And try to take and
kill Some only want some
freedom So they’ll do anything
for pills Some monsters creep out
at night Driven by insane lust Some monsters only show
themselves After it is dusk Some monsters hide in
closets And others under beds Frightening the young
ones " Flitting through their
heads Some monsters are just
cowards And will destroy the
weaker But if someone bigger
stands up to them They suddenly are
meeker Some monsters are so
poor That all they have is
money Some monsters are so
sickly sweet Their vomit smells like
honey Some monsters are good
actors Others shameless in
their greed Some monsters lie,
kill, rape, and steal Some monsters do “good”
deeds Some monsters are not
human Some are Necromancers Some monsters are
diseases Some monsters are
called “Cancer” Some monsters have no
reason For being who they are They just destroy and
leave behind What they have killed
and marred My hatred for these
monsters Is driven by a jeerer "
The monster that I hate
the most Is the one I see in the
mirror.
