Dream Come True?

Dream Come True?

A Poem by guy drori

Dreams--so at first,

are moments of illusion.

Verdant rain? Hall of fame!

A heavenly confusion.

By early dawn

they wither

like roses in the snow.

I lie in bed and quiver

wanting nowhere else to go.

I shut my eyes--close them tight,

and wish for their return.

Tight and tight

with all my might

until my eyelids start to burn.

My dreams--so at first,

light-years way away.

One day--after dawn perhaps,

they'll choose to stay throughout the day?

Indeed dreams do come true...but mostly those which we see with open eyes....and those who sees dream with eyes kept open are dangerous...they do stick to it!
And the dreams seen at night while sleeping...tis a disturbance disguised in sweet avatar....Really an absolute poem you penned...thanks for sharing :)

You're heartedly welcome! :)
Guy Drori,
"Dream come True" We are alive non stop. Even in our beds sleeping we are living very full lives. Dreaming is this extension; "a parallel reality..wonderful infusion."
Oh course this night life is so real. We cannot tell we are dreaming. Hence; "One day, after dswn perhaps, they'll choose to stay throughout the day?"
Intuitive writing.
Blessings,
Kathy
