Promise

Promise

A Poem by HB Rita

I promise you that

I will never forget you

Even I am turning into blue

I promise you that

I will count my breathe on you

With the smile of white rain-dew

I promise you that

I will let you lean on my shoulder

With gentle care when you’r older

I promise you that

I will clean the tears when you cry

It is time to give demon good bye

I promise you that

I will take you on my lap if you fall

Just keep me inside you;that’s all

I promise you that

I will never dare to make you cry

Tears with grief will fly in the sky

I promise you that

I will lighten you up once again

Fears will stream down the drain

But,

I can’t promise you that

I will never cry for you

Will never be awaken on a darkest night and pale

Can’t promise you that

There will never be a moment when I creep to reach you up high

Can’t promise you that I will never fall with grief and pain

I Just can’t promise you that I will never cut my veins

And enjoy the gratification of blood Because you left me alone!

Baby! I think I love you!
