Insanity Falls

driven crazy by love

cerebral trappings

of self-perpetuating delirium

leaves me far-flung

from normalcy's door

still pictures embedded in fallacy

torture a bustling mind

a spiraling head trip

going nowhere (but in circles)

familiar voices creep up

a crooked back, whispering

sweet machinations lacking endings

further fueling madness

shadowed consciousness drape

a honeyed valentine, gone

living only in brokenness

enchained by illness and heartache

insanity falls

screaming as it lands

lost love haunting peace

white walls gleefully play doctor

i can relate...third time wasn't a charm for marriage...among those and other relationships..i found myself bouncing off white walls in a rubber room all too often...

beating myself up for what happened, being totally confused..
