Operator?

Operator?

A Poem by Holly Mason

Press 1 if you would like to pay.
Press 2 if you would like to report payment.
Press 3 if you would like to hear again.
Where is the number you push for a human?
The pound symbol- no that repeats the menu.
The zero that should do it-no wait number not accepted.
Where is the operator?
Busy,busy,busy.
Learning computer skills for a new job.

I still think I'm going to here a real person and then I have to remind myself they're all doing something else. The human element is not a important and costly I suppose.

haha, you're welcome Holly.
Ah, arent they so simple and easy to use, and make you feel like a valued customer. Wonder what would happen if you ever got through to a real person. You'd probably think your phone was broke.

I always thought the Operator was at the Call Centre ...I just didn't always speak her language. And then the country codes you had to dial or press got strange!
