Sea Me

Sea Me

A Poem by Holly Mason

souls call the open waters
looking back who will alter
fate meet my destiny
all knowing for eternity
riding the wave of self understanding
cresting and falling, no land is the landing
sea serpents twisted my soul, you see
taking hands that belong to me
hurting tender do not go
hardly helpful of which I know
baseless, empty, entity
waves flourish for eternity
when fate met my destiny
in the sea of self discovery

love the way you have compared life with the flow, rise and fall and depths of the sea bringing yourself awareness to fruition ... absolutely stunning poetry..

thank you much fine lady, truly
nicely done...wicked rhyme scheme...and i don't even like rhyme...

souls call in open waters, and i am in a sea of self-discovery---

well penned...

philosophically sound...

When we finally see (sea) ourselves, it is an epiphany. Nicely done, Holly. Angi~

Very profound read Holly, I like that you wrapped the sea with understanding, both vast, mysterious and endless....

'fate meet my destiny
all knowing for eternity'

Always my pleasure dear Holly. :-)
Very nice my friend. I love the feel of this and how it speaks of who we are, regardless of where we are. The sea is calling us to be ourselves and stand up for what we believe. Very cool Holly.
