This Terrible Feeling

I'm in puerto rico and far away from my love of my life. It is very hard...

I sit here at the computer screen trying to think of words to say

To express the emotions that I'm feeling

This place of beauty is almost perfect, aside from the people and my missing love

I sit here at the computer screen, trying so hard to smile

It's a vacation right? I should be happy. 

But no vacation is perfect without my missing love

I long to be in his arms once more

Even though it has only been a day

I cry silent tears for him, wishing I could stay

I await for his text, a simple hello

Anything to make me not feel so alone 

But I will be back in a week, though it feels like forever

I long to slowly slide my fingers down his cheek

To hear his soft voice and have it comfort me

To not feel alone anymore
