Poem to Kate

Poem to Kate

A Poem by Cassick Dame

Dedicated to Kate

Every summer is simmering heat

Every winter is a chilling frigid

I continue to wonder if I’m beat

As I continue to lose my sympathy

This world has very little sunlight

This world has too many clouds

And through it all I think I’ve lost my might

I wonder if I should burn every town

The skies don’t really give much

The ground don’t really yield much fate

But when the unyielding love

Of a great one named Kate

Is with all of the others in the world

The sky might shine a little brighter

And the ground might give you a feast

And so the summer is warm

And so the winter is cool

Kate is an angel never beaten

Kate is never ending of a good mood
