Sing the Crow’s Tune

Why don’t you sympathise

For his morning croak?

An everlasting cold.

His eyes with that

melancholy shine

burrow to my heart.

Each day I listen

to him,

each day I think

of you,

mocking his song,

the crows tune.

Our lives,

we only sing the crow’s tune partially,

balancing happy

with sad,

balancing you

with me,

death

and life.

Words aren’t needed

for you should know them,

     sympathise with the crow.

For what they sing,

is what you shall sing

when your happy is

balanced with sad.

In our hearts,

each of us know

the Crow’s Song

and are saving it until the day

where singing with the crows

has come.

Rewritten from prose, I'm still not too sure if it flows quite right. Is the layout good or should I leave it plain and simple?
