Connections made
on our first date
Fireworks went off
I could not believe
you were
my soul mate.

The look in your eyes were as black as mine.
It was like my whole life
I was living a lie.

There was no truth
before I met you.
I did not feel alive
you breathed life
into me too.

I believed there was something special about you,
there had to be,
you were so unpredictable..

Now living in the world of blackness, thorns,
and the only feeling is sadness.

Your poison still running through me
intoxicating myself with your lies
stupid me,
when I believed you
too many f*****g times.
