Unclear

A Poem by Hazel

    UNCLEAR

The fog slides over rocks;
   slithers through lichen covered limbs;
melts into mountain snow;
   climbs to summit joining the clouds.

Thoughts traipse through senses;
   skate around experiences
melt-water-memories
   vaporize, merging with future.

What gorgeous imagery in this well written poem! Even if the fog and the clouds try to block words, the poet knows how to circumnavigate it all. When the past and the future can merge, a poem is born. So lovely. Lydi**

Thank you Lydi, I appreciate your comments.
Hazel, I like the images this paints for me, I can see the fog trailing and weaving. Sometimes, I feel the fog leach into my brain, too. Nice little poem. Angi~

My pleasure...Any time...Pen on...:)
What a wondrous sense of awakening... the fog alive in its movements, caressing the mountains. So filled with emotional stirrings.

Thank you Craig. I seem to live in the fog.
