Iosian Period Poem 2: Broken Heart

Iosian Period Poem 2: Broken Heart

A Poem by Heartless Dove

Thy heart rushed with joy at the beauty you embody

Scrutiny in the approach of how to express my love

Praying to the Lord above for a miracle to assist in this ordeal

Restless nights of tossing in bed

Agony in my very head

My thoughts deceive me

I am no good

Mustering the courage for my voice to be heard

Yet you stare with those eyes of zeal for what I possess

The flare of deception could be  the  light  in the darkness of thy heart

But you pierced it like a dart

Even with your envy I felt compassion

Still thy consideration of a plebeian was an annihilation of my very soul

You demoniac with a countenance of gold

I pray to the Lord for his love

For I knoweth that God has improvements

An emotion of being alive

All you were was a waste of my precious time
