Why question the past.

Why can't I turn off my mind

Tell it answers mean nothing?

Why can't the past

Just stay in the past?

Why do these answers even matter?

Questions questions everywhere

Why won't they go away?

Why can't sleep envelop me

Washing this all away?

Instead of hating myself

For having all these questions in my mind.
