What I Know

What I Know

A Poem by Hilary Adams
"

What I've learned from life so far.

"

That daisies only bloom when the weather’s warm

And hail can fall when the sun is out;

That love is one of the hardest things to forget

And genuine kindness is even harder to find;

That asking “how are you” can make someone’s day

And risks and sacrifice often catalyze life-changing events;

That sometimes people suck without realizing it themselves,

And that it’s totally within your rights to call them on their s**t.

But most of all,

That time spent doing what you love is never wasted,

Ever.

True words...love the honesty! Well done.

I believe you've captured alot of wisdom in these lines. I would agree with each and every one of them. I think if I were to add one line from my own list, it would be, "It's okay that other people don't like what you like."
I particularly love the second line. It brings back many memories of mid-west thunderstorms that throw hail and rain sideways and form a rainbow, while driving in the sunshine.

Great Ink! Thanks for sharing!
