understanding seems to be the bench mark of a lasting relationship, though not necessarily passion or love. This seems more like eros than agape, that's for sure.

I like the seeming paradox that s/he became something, but will not become anything else.

Maybe the person was always true to his/her own essence, only emotions masked perception or recognition.

K. I need to stop reading Freud and Jung lol


Reminds me of the lyrics of an Interpol song "The undoing"

"I was chased, thrilled, and altered"
