Thrown to The Wolves

Thrown to The Wolves

A Poem by Sarah Flanigan

I have been thrown off of the ship,
forced to swim these turbulent,
stormy,
freezing cold waters.
Right now, I'm barely treading water.

I have been tossed to the wolves,
it's only a matter of time before they find me.
It's dark,
cold,
and there is no escape.
I can hear them howling in the distance.

I don't know how much longer I can survive.

I'm an introverted bookworm. I tend to spend my days drinking far too much coffee and playing my ukulele too loudly. Life is strange and surreal, but also beautiful somehow. more..
