Babel on, Babylon.

Babel on, Babylon.

A Poem by Sarah Flanigan

You're going to build the tallest tower
that has ever existed.
Babel on, Babylon.

Everyone will flock from all over the world
to admire this architectural marvel.
Babel on, Babylon.

You'll go down in history
for completing this feat of construction.
Babel on, Babylon.

Your name will be spoken by scholars
and philosophers for centuries to come.
Babel on, Babylon.

And here comes that tower now.
It took a lifetime to build.
And now it's tumbling down to the dry,
cracked ground at your feet.

Babel on, Babylon.
