Tomorrow May Not Come

Tomorrow May Not Come

A Poem by Jami Nicole

If tomorrow never came,

What would you want to say to me today?

What would you do?

Would you kiss me in the rain?

Would you tell me you love me?

If tomorrow never came,

I'd be with you until our last minute

I'd make a snow man with you

Out in the winter chill

If the sky stayed dark and cool,

Would you come to me to say goodbye?

Would you stay up with me and tell me your secrets?

Would we have long talks like we used to?

Today I'll live like there's no tomorrow

Because someday there may not be

I'll say what I want to say

And take no responsibilities for my actions

I'll let my mind go free

And I'll take no sympathy from others

If there wasn't a tomorrow

I'd sneak over to your house

Like so many times in the past

I'd stay with you past curfew

And we'd talk endlessly about us

I'd kiss you like I meant it

And tell you everything that I feel

Because that's what we used to do

And if tomorrow never came,

It's what I'd want my last actions to be
