I had a crush for three years on a girl in high school. Nicest girl you could know. Had great conversation and never told her what I felt. I believe a lot of us are afraid of rejection. Better to have dreams then a bad memory. A very strong story in the poem. I like the ending. A excellent poem. Thank you.

Ah, crushes lol. it takes time. i had my crushes in high school, that never even knew i existed! one crush lasted me two years. i even told him how i felt and i got laughed at by him and his friends lol. i look back and laugh at it now. it wasnt funny then but we all move on from our crushes and finally find that one person that gives us what we want and deserve. its a good poem. maybe if garret likes poetry, if you cant tell him how you feel face to face, if youre the shy type or afraid of rejection....maybe giving him this poem will make him see how you feel? thats only if you can trust him, i remember how evil and cold high school boys are.
