Why Let Go

Why Let Go

A Poem by Veronica Franco

I have decided that I cannot have you,
Well you decided, I have to obey

I may find another, I need to be loved
You say you won’t, but you will

Everyone will be compared to you
No one will come close.

You got me to write again
You inspired me, just being you

Someday, maybe we will be great friends
And all this will be a distant memory

I fear I may have hurt you
I fear blood ran, cause of my words

When I hear that you do this,
I want to hold you more.

With the millions and million in this world
Do you really think there is only one for you?

She is gone, and will never come back
She wasn’t the one that was supposed to love you.
