You Found Me

You found me out of no where
You stayed persistent, even though I was hesitant
Hopefully, you understood why I was cautious
But you were un-fair in the beginning anyways, tsk tsk
 
Talking to you, I always looked forward to
Finally I got to see you, such a cutie with soft eyes
Feelings were born shortly thereafter
A little name change, and I know you
 
The first date, oh what a fantastic night
After I saw you, No more nerves, completely comfortable
Really didn’t feel like I had just met you
Felt like I had known you for years.
 
Infatuated takes me over
All I can think about is you, morning, noon and night
Could he be the one, Could the search be over
Afraid to get my hopes up, I am hesitant
 
You tell me how beautiful I am
You tell me how much you miss me
You tell me that you like me
Past experiences, flood my mind with doubt
 
So much of what I want and need in a man
I want to give you all of me
I want you to have my whole heart
A piece of it I still hold, until I am sure
 
Your face I miss, the loving way you look at me
Your kisses I miss, soft at first, then oh very passionate
Your arms I miss, wrapped tightly around me
Being close to you is all I want, do you want the same?
 
You say I will be upset with you soon enough
I say, I will understand, as long as it is understandable
What can the future hold for us?
I want you in my life; do you want to be there?
