Si - The Poem of Silicon

Si - The Poem of Silicon

A Poem by Neo-Water Basilisk
"

A poem about my favourite semi-conductor.

"
Si is god, without shame I shout it
I say that syllable with pride no doubt
One, just one, a single bit,
For Si, I shout!

Si, Si, you are incredible
And I delight in thee.
You are so lovable,
From you I would not flee.

Of Ge I knew
Though his was weak
Unlike you
Under the heat.

So common you are
But so powerful too,
Any distance, short or far
No strings, you're true!

Si, Si, doth you be
My favoured element?
I am filled with glee
To my fullest extent.

Si, Si, you turn me on
My wires and circuitry
I need you, silicon,
You semi-conduct my electricity!

Who am I, or who are we? We have seen a blasted wastes of the arid abyss. We have felt the frozen winds of the desolate tundra. We have breathed the intoxicating aroma of madness. What you call .. more..
