Weeds

Colorful flowers are blooming beautifully 

in the center of the park

Everybody is being attracted 

by the beautiful flowers

There are small grasses growing 

on the asphalt surrounding those flowers

However, no one notices these little grasses at their feet

Being trampled and pulled out

Even so, we will never surrender!

Facing the dreamed future

No matter how many times we collapse

Let's stand up right now

Buds will bloom someday

The flower is blooming on the asphalt 

which seems to be burned by summer sunshine

It was the flower being trampled at that time

enduring all the pain quietly to be survive

Although it has no sparkle polished 

like flowers in a flower bed

When you take a closer look to it

Still, they are shining

Although we are rooted on the barren ground

we can still, let the flower bloom!

Walk on my own path with tenacity

Yes, we are the indomitable flowers

This is what poetry is meant to be! The voice of the voiceless and the power of words in expressing a different point of view; I love the attitude and the diction and syntax here; as it progresses I feel the urgency of the little flowers need to stand up and be counted despite it's adversities and that itself is a powerful and well expressed theme. It's amazing the resilience that some little flowers show. Springing up in places where you least expect them. Wild flowers are just as lovely as cultivated ones, and should be appreciated in the same way. Lovely expression.
