Grey

Grey

A Poem by Maxwell

It’s painful to see loved ones cry

Sometimes I wish I could just take off and fly

Just to get away from troubles and worries

And listen to happy ending stories

But you just can’t escape life’s hurdles

The pain and sorrow that comes as puzzles

That ends in black and white as death

And that’s just as far as you get

Colourful youth turning to shades of grey

What more can you say?
