I love this poem...and as for your note at the end i have this to say:
I demand you remove the word 'sucks' from your vocabulary altogether! Stop labeling your self in such a way!
Say this until it sinks in "I am a writer!" say it, chant it, believe it.
Everyone who reads your work already knows it, you need to accept it.

I think this is pretty sweet. Just the title and line "paper towns" is awesome within itself. There's just something about this that I like :D
