Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by Emme

You call me up
Annoyed at a security guard
For telling you off about PDA
Outside, I sympathize
I say, "that sucks"
Inside, I'm in turmoil
I like you
As a friend, maybe as slightly more
I wish I were that other girl
But if I told you, you'd laugh
And you'd be right
Because why would you fall for me?

I am an English major, currently reading and obsessing over Paradise Lost. I've been going through a weird zombie phase lately (is there such a thing as a normal zombie phase?) more..
