Once Said to Me

Another poem/song written with some song lyrics and other stuff off the top of my head, all mostly to amuse someone.

The man in black once said to me,
'Did-a-chick 'n dum-a-chee
Not to worry, you've got the key!
Dad-a-chock 'n did-a-lee,
Don't you fret, the key's in me!'

Now don't think this a noble game
For all well might be the mark of Cain.
So do expect that I may lie
About the things you have to try.

When all is signed and all is sealed
We'll lose the chance for our appeal.
So show me your cards, and I'll show you mine
all on the off-chance that we'll be fine.

Don't only see me from behind
Don't only think that I am kind.
Do expect that I can see
Whatever you have planned for me.

So go!

So no!

I see your banner rising.

So low!

I know!

Behold your sigul blooming.

The man in black once said to me,
'Don't think of Life, it's all about Size.
It's hard I know, but my truth's not lies.
This won't be the last, but always the first
Now SEE the TURTLE of enormous girth!'

I once got burned

A thousand boots we'll wear-
down in our trek to Hell.
To find the day, seize and bear
And maybe find that well.

The man in black once said to me,
'Time's all a wheel
No need to fear!
So look high bright
Let there be LIGHT!'

Might also be a collaboration between sai King's and my Men in Black (and no, not the alien hunters!)

To answer everyone's questions, yes I was listening to some NeuroticFish while composing this (all things aside, I do like some of their lyrics. So if something sounds vaguely familiar, there you go. It's all slightly modified, of course!) and of course, the Tower's always on my mind.
