A Cryptic Message

A Cryptic Message

A Poem by Incandescence

I see you,

arms around her,

I hate you.

You're nothing

but

A liar.

A promise-breaker.

The truth-hider.

And there isn't

really

any changing,

in you, is there?

No one has

ever loved you like

I do.

Or, now, did.

You blew it.

The love is gone. So is the

light in my eyes. The

love

you gave me was fake.

Unreal. A mirrage of

the mind. It's too bad for

you that I no longer love

you still.

Very e.e. cummings. This was interesting and I liked it.

"A mirrage of" should be mirage.

That was all I could find to nitpick at. I liked this. The double message was interesting. I liked the two columns, since the number two in literature means duality, and the speaker is clearly battling two contrasting emotions. Good write.
