The moment of silence

Hanging in the air...

You read it as hesitation

Read me now.

In that pause

I'm being still

And fantasizing

About the thousands of ways

I want to show you my love.

You dream of moments

While I dream of lifetimes

In which I can say

I Love You

Everyday.

In my words and actions--

The unreserved kiss.

The unrestrained love.

Capturing each other

And never letting go.

Love is pain

In my unfulfilled dreams.

Say you'll keep me

And never leave.

You have the skill set lined up, and convey it all well enough.

Work on adding imagery. Draw with words. I can tell that you're mature and not a "fluffy" writer, thankfully. And I gather that you can bring life experiences moreso into your writing. You have the personal touch going for you, when you write. Now take it deeper, feel it and then explain it to the reader.
Your "look" is intriguing, that's why you chose it. Your writing then, is attached to that, because you're not just a tree pic.

But don't just be beautiful. Be messy. Be erratic and emotional.
