Soul Will Tell

Too many fakes are in this world,
Feel like hearts are always hurled.
Looking for something so fresh,
Not just another sin of the flesh.
Just looking for someone to stay,
Not just leave start of the day.
I'm looking past the outer shell,
To see what your soul will tell.
Shallow thoughts are to fast,
Let's make memories to last.
All you see are shallow guys,
Ones who are filled with lies.
Wanting to lay you on the bed,
Never ask what's in your head.
Just trying to get a quick thrill,
Never tryin to be a real deal.
That's not and never will be me,
There's much more I want to see.
Forget all that you think you know,
All you have to do is let fear go.
Let me prove, I'm not like the rest,
Join me on starting a new quest.
So tell me now what is your excuse?
