You're my rainbow in the gray weather,

My Prince Charming and God.

My existence revolves around Your blood.

My heart has recently been going through a time like this prayer describes--wanting to know and love and serve God more but struggling to overcome the obstacles in my life that stand in the way of my spiritual growth--so much so that I had begun to feel hopeless and guilty and distressed all the time....but now that He's been helping me to rely more completely on HIS power to have His passion and selflessness for Him, this storm is passing, and I'm so thankful for His mercy and love in answering my prayer! This poem is such a genuine, accurate expression of what many of God's people earnestly seek and desire in their lives for Him!
