A Three Word Phrase

A Three Word Phrase

A Poem by Hecate Zariah

I wish I knew what to say to you
Because the words are lost before they form
So I'll pray to Athena, the Muse, or whichever God you choose
To let these words flow correctly
Your smile brightens the day
Your eyes showing such care
The way you speak, calms me to sleep
I do not fear you as I do others
Your gentle touch and understanding
It is everything I could ask for
Though the distance of travel long
I would ride through rain to find you
Your laugh so heartfelt, it warms me
Your jokes so funny, I adore The
Yet Aphrodite makes you believe to be alone
I wish to be your Muse and show you the light
To unblind you from the happiness you hide from
For what you seek is right in front of you
A three word phrase, drawn out so long
A wonder as to why and if I can say it
You know these words well, but not the true feeling
"I Love You"
Baby I love you, and I'll say it loud
Because the happiness you wish to give
Is as happy as I am with you
