Butterfly Kisses

Butterfly Kisses

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

The wings of love

"
Autumn arose on russet wings,
fanning last scent from wilted blooms.
And has the nightjar softly sings,
awakening the sleeping tombs.

Cocoon bursts forth in rainbow hues,
as silk spun lace of floral gown.
Covers the frame once wracked with blues,
shedding woes that weighed her down.

The midnight moth soon caught her eye,
and promised her his heart and more.
So day and night in twilight sky,
taste the nectar of a'mour.

So if you seek to know romance,
give up the past and take a chance.

Message well conveyed, great flow and so supportive! Giving that advice that produces a gentle nudge for a friend to get out there and give love a chance. And you must take a chance in order to find something magical.
Well Done!!!

By the way, I LOVE the title. That really drew me in. I ADORE butterflies. :3
Ah, soooo beautiful. I admire your poetical prowess, my friend. This just enchanted me. The butterfly is such a perfect symbol for so many different things: love, change/transformation, the mind, the soul, the heat. i think you used all of these.

So day and night in twilight sky,
taste the nectar of a'mour.

I loved the pic...the metaphors, all of it!

It made me feel like a trapped butterfly....waiting to escape into the love inspiring moonlight!
