Winters KissA Poem by InyourshadowWhen I was cold you warmed me
When winters kiss denied me warmth,
and bound me neath her linen White. Accusing me with eyes of ice, casting me down into this night. When icicles pricked at my flesh, and drew from me my very blood. That turned the snowdrops pink then red, and showed my pain was understood. When in the stead a single rose, poised resplendant and alone. I realised you spoke to me, and simply said you're not alone. Thy dew drop kiss I gentle sip, in this sweet taste upon my lip. © 2011 InyourshadowAuthor's Note
