The Apology

The Apology

A Poem by Izzy-01

I want to pick up the phone and call you.

My minds telling me what if :

What if he dosn't answer it

What if he just hangs up .

It was all my fault i don't blame you.

Now im starting to regret .

Thats why i want to call you,

Call you to make ammends

My friends are distant voices.

At times these are loud and clear

They say they are the voice of sanity

At this moment i just don't care

I want to solve this puzzle

Put the pieces where they belong.

But the final piece is missing

Cause im holding onto this phone.

Kinda reminiscent of my own youth; clever and smartly-styled.
Very fine work, Izzy!
