The Blame Game

The Blame Game

A Poem by JC Fox
"

Lyrics in blue green, song Marilyn Manson The Nobodies

"

Today I am dirty

I want to be pretty

Tomorrow, I know I'm just dirt

Count to ten and die this is no time to cry

Poor little babies is this not what you wanted?

Suicide is not painless despite what the say

If you’re not going to do it then go back to your room and

play

Fear the nobodies

Wanna be Somebodies

We're dead,

We know just who we are

Another face in the crowd

Another person crying too loud

We’re responsible for our actions

If you do something then who is to blame?

Don’t blame the artist

Just a stupid politician’s game

Some children died the other day

We fed machines and then we prayed

Puked up and down in morbid faith

You should have seen the ratings that day

Deal with the decisions you make

It’s no one else’s problem it’s your own mistake

Don’t blame the music

Don’t blame the artist

Look at the home

Look at the parents

Look at the twisted little brats

We live with our mistakes

So why do we also find someone else to blame?
