Articulation

Articulation

A Poem by Jennie C.
"

Playing the part of the queen...

"
Amazing you said, The feelings I gave
Perfect I was, object of your affection.

You wouldn't have known
that she was just me
Every thought, every word
came from my lips
But I was good at concealing,
even better at playing the role.

I articulated myself beautifully,
almost a flawless girl
and it wasn't long, before you fell
for the picture I painted
I wish you could see
the me I was all along

I wish you could really fall,
for a "dream" girl like me.
