Sonnet on The Body and Sexual Immorality

Inspired by what Christ said to the church in Thyatira in Revelation for the whole church was learning sexual immorality for your body is his temple in you.

YOUR TEMPLE AND CHRIST'S WILL

God knows your faith and love and service too

Your patient endurance and the latter more so

But you have her in your life who teaches you

By seduction sexual immorality though

Our Lord has given her this time to change her mind

But she refuses to repent so he will make her sick

But if you continue great tribulation you'll find

In her arms and in her bed, so take your pick

If she has children he will strike them with death

For he gives to each according to their works

He gives them breath and he takes away their breath

And this he'll do to him who stalls and shirks

But if you turn from what they have learned it's his will

Not to give you any more burden but he's had his fill.
