What I Am to Her, What She Is to Me

What I Am to Her, What She Is to Me

A Poem by J. F. Charleston

Once she told me
that I was like a brother
that she never had

She's the kinda friend
I always wanted
the kind that you could love

I'm her best guy friend
that loves her like crazy
just waiting for the day
that we could be more

Everytime I see her
my heart skips a beat
when I want to tell her something
I've got to clear a lump in my throat

I want to show her
how much she means to me
but respecting her limits
restricts me

I'm just her friend
that dreams of her

She's that girl
that means everything to me

What I am to her...
and what she is to me...

Oh my! I love this! It totally explains me right now, I love him but I'm just another friend. Ive known since 7th grade that he was the one I loved, but we've always been friends, that's all we'll ever be.

Exactly I try to move on and talk to other guys, but he's always there. Good luck to you as well
Ooooh... somebody got friend zoned... ouch. Do you write what comes to your mind, or do you write on what happens to you? I do some of both, so I'm just curious.

Pretty much what comes to mind. Thanks for the review.
thats the downside of being friends with the sex you r attracted to... im gay and all my friends are girls... god knows if i had a guy friend i wouldn't know where to draw that line...
