thank goodness, that's how it is,
I relate,
Only, I do fiction,
I fall into worlds that my characters lead, sometimes I'm in them

I sometimes think about Hemingway who said he never worried about writers’ block as he knew all he had to do was write one true sentence and go from there.

Love his prose, and that's a great quote. We can try anyways. Thanks for reading!
John,
I've always believed that poetry, from its earliest inception, is of and for the people all the way back to caves and campfires where tribal values and exploits were there to create unity and identity. Today we are different culturally, so our own lives seem to take precedence over our community, even though we live in a scrambled culture. Who has not been so negatively effected by events and encounters so we have to lean our heads against a wall as we try to pin down or pen down our confusion? We live and evaluate for ourselves rather than our tribe, those things we experience in this strange new world where we are, indeed , lost strangers.
Maybe you're losing track of your thoughts.... not your path...maybe a walk around the block would help!
Warmly, B
