Sorry

Everyone can say the word "sorry"

They can always say it

But

It doesn't have to be real

It doesn't mean that they actually meant it

If their apology was sincere and real 

then

You can actually see it by just looking into their eyes

And hear it through the sadness and disappointment in their voice

Only then, 

Will you realize, 

They didn't just hurt you,
They hurt themselves, 

Just as much.

Nice piece of truth there buddy-oh. Simple expressions can lead to even more heartbreak than what they began with, as the person you are saying "Sorry" to knows that that's a lie.

Sorry... a simple word, but so hard to say when you actually and truly mean it.
You are completely right that some people just say it and its just another word to them. It's sad when this happens and the person on the receiving is being lied too.
But it is those who have lied, will be the sorry ones in the end - sooner or later, they will lose face and respect from others around.

Yes I agree, its not as simple as you think, it might look easy but saying is really hard. they will lose it all by just lying about that one word "sorry"

And yeah people do come and go in your life no matter how long you knew them, but the close one will always stay by you. so keep them close to our heart because im pretty sure their keeping you to theirs.

Many people likes to make all the things simplier and they just say sorry. This is for me is the first step of repentance and theres more if you are serious about chaging up. If not, keep doing the first step and you'll never reached learning. Only regret. Good piece. Keep writing.

I like this poem, because I feel if someone apologizes that means they don't plan on doing it again!
If someone apologizes to me, I never say it's okay. I say I accept it, because what they did was not okay..

Cool poem. Very deep. You are very good at writing about human emotion and sincerity. Maybe you could change some of the words around so that your writing picks up a different mature quality and professionalism, for example you could change 'Only then, You will realize, That they also did not just hurt you,But also them,Just as much.' to Only then, will you realise, they didn't just hurt you,
they hurt themselves, just as much.' I hope this makes sense I just want to help a fellow writer out.
